Heaven Will Be Mine takes place in an alternate version of the 1980s. While the entirety of the game takes place at an unknown date and time, there are several points in the game where historical information is presented to the player, in the form of intercepted correspondance to and from members of the different factions.

The following section is a timeline of these events. Note that, while the events are presented in chronological order on this page, they are presented to the player out of order when playing the game.
